Growing up in Alabama, I always had a great desire to discover other cultures and see as much of our world as I could. Luckily, I was able to travel to Switzerland to partake in a Global Leaders Summit when I was just 15. Ever since then, I’ve made it a priority to take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way.
Through out my high-school, college, and professional careers, I’ve visited 8 countries and 22 states. I see academic education as a human right, but I have to admit that I’ve learned more valuable lessons by simply stepping outside of my comfort zone.
After graduating in December of 2022, I began this months long journey with one of my best friends. We’ll be visiting locations all across Southeast Asia, as well as western Europe. During this time I’ll be researching and writing on different elements of the hospitality industry that I encounter-focusing on local cuisine and spirits.
In August 2023, I’ll be joining the team at Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford, CA to really dive into my career. I can’t wait to see where this path takes me, and I invite you to follow along!
